Job Description

5 Architecture is a respected architecture firm based out of Boca Raton, Florida. We are a small firm made up of multiple contract team members and are looking to grow. We are searching for a PROJECT MANAGER with 5-7 years of experience to assist the firm partner with managing all the firm's projects and managing the tasks of the other team members.

Job Location

100% Remote, but local to the South Florida area for occasional in-person meetings with the firm partner (located in Boca Raton ) and/or project meetings in Miami-Dade / Broward / Palm Beach Counties.

Job Responsibilities and Duties


  • Coordinate and manage architectural staff workloads and schedules to ensure all team members' skills and preferences are optimized for the firm's workload and commitments.
  • Provide support to team members for technical and other issues/questions during the production process
  • Assist firm partner in strategy planning/growth management.


  • Leadership role in the production of all of the firms' work (from Conceptual Design through Construction Documents) by way of supporting the staff and/or preparing drawings/details / CDs as needed
  • Coordinate with consultants to ensure projects are executed with the utmost system coordination to provide a quality set of documents
  • Review and markup design and construction drawings for revision by the team
  • Work on multiple projects with multiple team members

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelors / Professional Degree in Architecture
  • 7+ years of experience working in educational, institutional, retail & restaurant project typologies in a project management role.
  • Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other creative software platforms
  • Strong knowledge of Florida Building Code & Florida Fire Prevention Code
  • Experience managing architectural staff workloads and project schedules
  • Experience coordinating projects with outside consultants and integration of their scope of work into the architectural drawing package.
  • Ability to prepare and manage architectural projects from Schematic Design Phase into Construction Administration Phase
  • Comfortable using various software platforms to track project progress/profitability and schedules
  • Architect Registration not required

Contract Position Requirements

  • Reliable computer equipment and internet access
  • Revit (most current version) license
