Verdant Studio is seeking a Project Manager with 8+ years of experience.  A degree in Architecture or related field is required.  Extensive technical competency and 3D (BIM) modeling is required.  Salary and benefits commensurate with experience. Be prepared to share technical documents (CDs and Specs) if you should be invited to interview. We will continue to offer remote and hybrid working options beyond 2021. 

A Project Manager at Verdant Studio is responsible for all phases of design and construction of projects from beginning to completion, while performing a supervisory role in assigning and reviewing the work of other team members. Projects will vary from architecture, branding and marketing, design competitions, exhibitions and artworks. 

 Selected Job Duties 

  • Fosters and maintains a collaborative professional working relationship with the entire Team, Consultants, and Clients. 
  • Participates on and/or leads multiple project teams. 
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with diligence and commitment, providing on-going communication to project team and clients. 
  • Assists Verdant Leadership in developing and validating project scope and fee, budget, and scope of services during the marketing and proposal/contract development process. 
  • Assists Verdant Leadership in the preparation and execution of consultant and GC proposals and contracts. 
  • Monitors progress of all construction phases in compliance with building plans and deadlines. 
  • Manage correspondence with clients, vendors, consultants, building departments, landlords, construction team and other personnel involved in projects. 
  • Oversee research of state and local code compliances. 
  • Execute site surveys (travel to sites of existing buildings to develop as-built drawings) on a as need basis. 
  • Manages projects using the Monograph Project Management system; including identification of project team members, budget, consultants, schedule for completion, fees and costs as well as project change notices or other actions taking place on the assigned project. 
  • Understanding of technical drawings, including those necessary to design and detail a building. 
  • Manage architectural design development process and design team task assignments during the production of architectural drawings 



  • Bachelors degree or higher in architecture or related degree required (license not required) 
  • Minimum 8 years experience in an architectural firm 
  • Ability to interpret construction data, engineering calculations and drawings 
  • Proficiency in technical design required, with basic knowledge of ArchiCAD (or Revit), Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign preferred.   
  • Commercial construction documents and specification experience also required 
  • Must possess strong time management and people management skills and have the ability to handle the pressure of tight deadlines and complicated projects

Supervisory Responsibility 

This is a supervisory position. This role will work collaboratively with the entire Verdant Team. 


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work 

This is a full-time position with 40 hours a week. During busy periods, the ability to work extra hours is a requirement of the job to meet business needs. Additionally, remote working employees are expected to stay connected through the company’s digital platforms.
