WXY is a 50 person team with a wide range of expertise. We have a collaborative office environment where cross-disciplinary team work is essential.

This is a full-time, Senior Project Architect position.

Successful candidates will be responsible for the development and delivery of the contract documents and manage the work of the designers on their team. They will have the ability to handle a full range of tasks within architectural design practice. They will also possess expertise in BIM standards and systems (Revit).

WXY is a collaborative environment, and while your primary responsibilities will be on your assigned projects, your expertise will be called upon to assist in office wide projects and best practice implementation. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the preparation of design and construction documents, including leading the effort to ensure that consultant documents are coordinated, from inception to project closeout.
  • Leads and directs the preparation of regulatory filing sets and management of that process.
  • Working closely with senior staff to ensure that the project is proceeding in accordance with design direction from Principles.
  • Being the point of contact for consultant and contractor teams. Successful candidates will be able to maintain regular correspondence with consultants and be able to identify issues that affect project design and propose solutions.
  • Assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of BIM systems and standards office-wide
  • Maintaining an organized workflow throughout a project, consistent with office procedures and standards. Responsible for maintaining a record of all project related correspondence.
  • Manage the schedule (internal and external) to ensure the timely completion of tasks
  • Guiding and mentoring of staff
