Mayberry Workshop is a startup Design Centric Housing focused Architecture and Design-Build / Development firm. We are working toward changing the way we live in Northern California. Toward a more modern, 21st Century experience. 

We’re growing, and in search of that one grounding soul to be the cultural lead in the office - organize and execute an Administrative role, in support of our talented Architectural team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Establishes great working relationships with the key stakeholders including Design-Build partnerships and referral networks, external clients, and Design Staff.

Streamlines office documentation and administrative support through Google For Workplace, Wrike and Bigtime

Provides Principal administrative support with phone calls, scheduling, calendars, e-mails, meetings, expenses, events, and research.

Manages and coordinates multiple calendars, both individual and team specific

Creates a high level of trust and confidence, acting with the utmost professionalism and discretion over the phone, through written communication and in person, to accomplish requests and achieve goals.

Aids in drafting contracts, letters and contract addendums for review - Hubspot 

Available in Office for walk in support

Organizes, documents and implements office procedures.

Responsible for organizing tasks by level of urgency. Ensure the day-to-day tasks are well organized and efficient.


Dedicates necessary time beyond scheduled hours (including last minute requests) as required to meet business commitments.


Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree is required.

Five or more years of experience performing administrative functions.

Experience in A/E/C firms preferred.

Appreciation and eye for design - able to create beauty and order in the minutiae 

Knowledge of administrative best-practices, effective communication skills, and exceptional interpersonal skills.

Working knowledge of Apple Computers, Google Workplace (Docs/Sheets)


Salary range: $70,000 - $95,000, depending on knowledge, skills, and experience. Benefits: medical, dental, vision, PTO.
